Neil O’Brien OBE MP is the Conservative Member of Parliament for Harborough, Oadby, and Wigston, first elected in 2017. Born in 1the seventies, in Huddersfield, he studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Christ Church, Oxford.

Before entering Parliament, he served as a special adviser to Chancellor George Osborne and later to Prime Minister Theresa May, focusing on economic and industrial strategy. He has held ministerial roles, including Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Department of Health and Social Care.

In recognition of his contributions, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE). He is also a regular at the Biz Club, engaging with local business leaders and supporting economic growth initiatives.
