Lunch with Guest Speaker – Chris Heaton Harris

Chris Heaton-Harris is a veteran British politician and Conservative MP for Daventry since 2010. Throughout his career, he has held significant roles, most recently serving as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 2022. During his time in office, he tackled critical issues such as the Windsor Framework, aimed at resolving challenges related to the Northern Ireland Protocol post-Brexit, and contributed to efforts to restore the Stormont Executive in 2024.

Previously, Heaton-Harris served as Chief Whip, Minister of State at the Department for Transport, and Minister at the Department for Exiting the European Union, where he played a key role in Brexit negotiations and policymaking. A committed Eurosceptic, he has been a prominent figure in shaping the UK’s post-Brexit landscape. In May 2024, he announced he would not stand for re-election, reflecting on his career with pride while pledging continued support for the Conservative Party and its leadership.
