On July 19th Baroness Anne Jenkin will come to Uppingham to share with us her work to get more women elected into Parliament. Baroness Jenkin entered the House of Lords in 2011 thanks to her tireless work in this area, including the founding of Women2Win with Theresa May in 2005.
Baroness Jenkin is also active in helping prevent childhood obesity, advocates for girls and women’s rights in all areas, and hates waste.
She is a spirited speaker and welcomes frank and honest discussion so this promises to be an interesting and engaging lunch, do join us:
